Dear God, like all the homeless,
I come for my daily loaf of bread,
When I ask for worldly wealth,
In Your Mercy, You gave health instead.
In pursuit of happiness,
I often ask You for vain kingdom,
With love devoid of pitiness,
You readily offer Your Wisdom.
Blinded by this World game,
I strive ferociously for more fame,
By Grace, You gave me Your Name,
Since then, my life is never the same.
