All the religions and cultures of the world contains interpretations and writings about dreams (referred to as night visions), some them shaped the course of this world : in Iliad, Agamemnon visited by a messenger of the god Zeus, Atharvaveda in India documents dreams omens, in Nineveh, the Babylonian emperor Ashurbanipal’s dream guide was discovered, Old and New Testaments are rife with prophetic dreams : Pharaohs & Joseph, Jacob, Daniel & Nabuchadnasser.
There are many categories of dreams, the main ones are : Happy ( Pleasant events) & Unhappy Dreams (nightmares), Freudian (sex suppression or wish-fulfillment), Astral (Spirit leaves body, unfamiliar places, travel, Precognitive (ESP & Prophetic), Unrelated (foreign in nature and events to sleeper’s life and profession).
