It is indeed true that the Church is the embassy of the Kingdom of Heaven and we are therefore Christ’s Ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us” (II Cor. 5:20 ) for “our citizenship is Heaven,( Philip. 3:20) if :
The presence of its Creator, God, is profoundly felt,
The Anointed MESSIAH is its Monarch,
The Holy Spirit is Its Minister,
Its Officials are the DISCIPLES of the Lord,
Its believing body are the beloved Saints of the Lord,
Its Flag is the CROSS,
Its Coat of Arm is the RESURRECTED CHRIST,
Its Code of Ethics is the BIBLE,
Its Function is attending to the LOST SHEEP,
Its Mission is the Spreading of the GOSPEL,
Its Pledge of Allegiance is only to the Living GOD,
Its Policy is Raging War in love against all VICES,
Its Services are the STRENGTHENING of FAITH,
Its Diplomacy is to confirm the KINGDOM of GOD,
Its Survival is the strict adherence to the SCRIPTURES,
Its Tenure is contingent on its UNWAVERING COMMITMENT,
Its Instructions are to demonstrate GOD’S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE,
Its Purpose is to Reconcile man with God by Gathering not Scattering,
ITS FEES ARE ALREADY PAID IN FULL BY CHRIST.
In Jesus’ Church, believers come to the Lord Jesus and His True Church, as they are: sinners looking for relief and forgiveness, and not to be launched on a guilt trip, and right there and then, they throw their sins, cares and hardship at the feet of the Crucified Christ, instead of leaving them at the portals, because they trust in Jesus Words : “Come to me, all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest”, (Matt. 11:28), the rest that only God, who already forgave them before they ask, can give.
Jesus promised, if we confess our sins, he is faithful to forgive us and that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them (II Cor. 5:19 ), Christ already placed them behind the Father declaring “their sins and iniquities I will remember no more” (Heb.10:17) . Remember that Jesus loves His church, which is us, before we loved Him and also he chose us before we have chosen Him and before we have decided to follow Him.
Jesus justified and sanctified us by making us, on the Cross, purer than the gold and whiter than the snow; since we have the “Greater is He who is in us” and who is more precious than gold, let us not be satisfied with ore dross.
Estranged from our Heavenly land, let us genuinely participate in living and spreading the Good News of our salvation, forgiveness and unconditional love, freely and undeservedly bestowed on us by the Lord Jesus Christ by becoming doers of the Word and not just hearers, and by serving our Lord in Spirit and Truth and by lifting up our church to be the true church of Jesus Christ in true partnership, devoted fellowship and ardent worship, thus our names will be written forever as genuine and participating citizens of Heaven in the only relevant register :
