English Essays > Biblical : Act of God

“For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has shown it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, (even) his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible manwho changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” ( Rom. 1:18-25)

“… Keep that which is committed to your trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called, which some professing have erred concerning the faith.

Grace be with you ... Amen”

1 Tim 6:20-21

Whether one chooses to believe or not that Joseph and Mary had consummated all the duties of marital life after the birth of Jesus, had children together, and whether Jesus’ immediate family believed in His Deity and Mission, is irrelevant in itself to the prerequisites of one’s SALVATION and FAITH.

If we are truthful in our belief, and we crown Jesus Christ Lord King over our life, trusting Him with all our affairs, and confessing to Him our sins, and praying without ceasing, and loving our neighbor and enemy, our faith convicts us to believe in the truths, without exception, of the Immaculate Conception, the Virgin Birth, the God-Man Jesus, His Suffering, His Crucifixion, His Death, His Resurrection, including the Holy Trinity, baptism, our resurrection and the Day of Judgment.
