Angels
From the Kabbala teachings:
“Michael on right, Gavriel on left, Raphael behind, Uriel in front carrying a lamp and the Shechinah above descending as a cloud over you. I felt my head turn into sparks and my body cleansed the cloud descended to my feet. I walked upon fresh grasses and they felt pleasant against my feet. As the Shechinah passed over my nose I smelled its fragrance; like the fragrance of flowers in a garden is the air of Hashem. The fragrance was like incense renewing my soul.
Uriel led us forward carrying a lantern, which swung side-to-side. Eventually the land turned rocky as we began to ascend a mountain.
Heb 1:14: “Are they not all ministering spirits sent to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation.”

PRINCIPALITIES (From Prince, Chief, Arch)
POWERS (Including evil Spirits)
DOMINATIONS / DOMINION
THRONES
VIRTUE (As in Dynamy & Authority)

Romans 8:38: “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor Principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor Powers …”
Ephes. 3:10: “So that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the Principalities and authorities in the heavens.”
Ephes. 6:12: “For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the Principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.”

Col. 2:15: “Despoiling the Principalities and the Powers, he made a public spectacle of them, leading them away in triumph by it.
Daniel 12:1 “At that time there shall arise Michael, the great prince, guardian of your people…”
Eph. 3:10: “So that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the Principalities and Authorities (Powers) in the heavens.“
Eph. 6:10-11: “Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power. Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil. [12] For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the Principalities, with the Powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.”
Ephes. 1:21: “Far above every Principality, Power, Virtue, and Dominion, and every name that is named not only in this age but also in the one to come.
Col. 1:11 & 16-17: “Strengthened with every Power, in accord with his glorious might, for all endurance and patience, with joy…
For in him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether Thrones or Dominions or Principalities or Powers; all things were created through him and for him.He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”
Col. 2:9-10 & 15-23: “For in him dwells the whole fullness of the deity bodily, [10] and you share in this fullness in him, who is the head of every Principality and Power … despoiling the Principalities and the Powers, he made a public spectacle of them, leading them away in triumph by it … Let no one, then, pass judgment on you in matters of food and drink or with regard to a festival or new moon or Sabbath. These are shadows of things to come; the reality belongs to Christ. Let no one disqualify you, delighting in self-abasement and worship of angels, taking his stand on visions, inflated without reason by his fleshly mind, and not holding closely to the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and bonds, achieves the growth that comes from God.
If you died with Christ to the elemental Powers of the world, why do you submit to regulations as if you were still living in the world? "Do not handle! Do not taste! Do not touch!" These are all things destined to perish with use; they accord with human precepts and teachings. While they have a semblance of wisdom in rigor of devotion and self-abasement (and) severity to the body, they are of no value against gratification of the flesh.”
1 Peter 3:22: “Who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with Angels, Powers and Virtues subject to him.
The Old and New Testaments are abundant with the reference to other angels, over one thousand; here are few verses:
Genesis 19:1: “The two Angels reached Sodom in the evening, as Lot was sitting at the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he got up to greet them; and bowing down with his face to the ground…”
Genesis 19:12: “Then the Angels said to Lot: "Who else belongs to you here? Your sons (sons-in-law) and your daughters and all who belong to you in the city--take them away from it!”
Exodus 3:2: “There an Angel of the LORD appeared to him in fire flaming out of a bush. As he looked on, he was surprised to see that the bush, though on fire, was not consumed.”
1 Samuel 29:10: “So the first thing tomorrow, you and your lord's servants who came with you, go to the place I picked out for you. Do not decide to take umbrage at this; you are as acceptable to me as an Angel of God. But make an early morning start, as soon as it grows light, and be on your way."
Matthew 1:20: “Such was his intention when, behold, the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her.”
Matthew 4:11:Then the devil left him and, behold, Angels came and ministered to him.”
Matthew 13:39: “… and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are Angels.”
Matthew:13:41: “The Son of Man will send his Angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all who cause others to sin and all evildoers.”
Rev. 8:2-6: “And I saw that the Seven Angels who stood before God were given seven trumpets.
The Bible in its entirety warns us from falling into the traps of the devil and assures us that God has appointed his angels to protect and lead us:
- In the warning department, we read among others these two passages:
1 Peter 5:8: “Be sober and vigilant. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for (someone) to devour.”
Rev. 12:9: “The huge dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, who deceived the whole world, was thrown down to earth, and its angels were thrown down with it.”
- And in the assurance department, we are summoned to believe:
Exodus 23:20-23: “See, I am sending an Angel before you, to guard you on the way and bring you to the place I have prepared. Be attentive to him and heed his voice. Do not rebel against him, for he will not forgive your sin. My authority resides in him. If you heed his voice and carry out all I tell you, I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes.”
Judith 13:20 : (Apocryphal book) “As the same Lord lives, his Angel has been my keeper both going hence and abiding there, and returning from there here; and the Lord has not suffered me his handmaid to be defiled, but has brought me back to you without pollution of sin, rejoicing for his victory, for my escape, and for your deliverance.”
Psalm 91:11-13: “For God commands the Angels to guard you in all your ways. With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the asp and the viper, trample the lion and the dragon.”
Matthew 18:10: "See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.”
Hebrews 1:14: “Are they not all ministering Spirits sent to serve, for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?”
Rev. 1:20: “This is the secret meaning of the seven stars you saw in my right hand, and of the seven gold lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.”
Although there is no such mention in the 66 Books of the Bible, we find plenty in the Apocryphal Books. But the Bible, in large, speaks divinely and sublimely of courtship and marriage, such as in Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sara, Isaac and Rebecca, Jacob and Rachel, Tobiah and Sarah, Esther, Judith, and more importantly the Virgin Mary and her pious husband Joseph. As has happened to Mary and Joseph where angels undertook God’s guidance in their life and were their guardian angels, so those who conform to godly precepts in their relations, their special valentine angels are there to guide them.
