Russia should be grateful that the 7 Gs, those democracies of the world, who forgave the old USSR their transgression and hostility, and extended a helping hand to all the former U.S.S. Republics, be it in contributions, humanitarian assistance or long term loans, as in their democratic view, they want Russia to use its richness in natural resources to stand on its feet and remain as a Superpower.
To accomplish this task, in spite of Russia’s diverse and complex social, economical and political discrepancies and dilemmas, the president has to share power with a real “Duma”, who will have the full parliamentary powers to debate, recommend, object, abstain and even impeach the president, if necessary, to take a democratic Russia into the 21st century. Moreover, to limit military powers, to stop the bloodshed, to grant secession to the republics, to fight corruption and the nouveaux riches of old and new political parties favoritism, to deploy natural resources and create jobs, etc...
Let’s hope for a president and an effective real duma working together to transform Russia from :
a SANITARIUM to a SANATORIUM
